I’ve Got This Blog

Posted by: Steve Febbraro    in Thoughts

So, I’ve got this blog. It’s my place to write whatever I want. It’s a political, satirical blog where sacred cows do not exist. A visitor to my blog has every right to expect some witty, sharp, acerbic, article on the current events of the day. But, I don’t always feel like writing something political.

I’m not a writer. Never went to school for writing, never dreamed of being a writer, but do enjoy writing. My thoughts are scattered like wispy clouds on a windy day. Most times I can stay on track, while at other times, my thoughts get derailed like an out of control locomotive.

Logic is not my strong suit, and I tend to write from the heart, rather than the brain. I’m not a deep thinker. I’m more of a surface thinker. Not that I never delve into the deep realm of thoughts, but more often than not I’m in shallow intellectual water. Snorkeling, rather than scuba diving.

There is a wealth of material to draw from the political realm. Anyone with a smattering of intelligence should be able to put together a paragraph of interesting facts and opinions about the day’s events. Writing a blog is not rocket science. Consistency is the key. Have something new everyday, the blog gurus tell you. Always have new material. Readers will come back to see what you’re up to, as long as they can read something new on each visit. With that advice in mind, I sit here and type four paragraphs (thus far) of fairly uninteresting drivel.

When does the good stuff come? I’d like to know the answer myself. This evening, I don’t believe anything of literary, or political value will be written. I’m just tired of the whole political realm. It’s so frustrating to see elected officials act as if they’ve been ordained by God, rather then elected by their constituents. The idea of service to country has been left somewhere in a smoky back room, while the idea of staying in office has moved into the main dining room of political fare.

Anything to get reelected. All’s fair in love and political war. Promise than anything, then once elected do whatever you want. You’ve got two, or six years do get away with murder, and if you’re lucky, most of the seniors who voted you in will be long gone before you lie to the people again. It’s disgusting.

Tomorrow, I hope to jump back on the political bandwagon. But, for tonight, I will say to you my dear readers, the same thing I say to my friends on Twitter, “May the good Lord bless you all, and God Bless America!

BTW – Look me up on Twitter – @dazedjourney

Good night.

Wackjob science czar to appear on David Letterman
By Michelle Malkin  •  August 31, 2009 10:36 AM

According David Letterman’s website, wackjob science czar Dr. John Holdren is scheduled to appear Wednesday night, September 2.

Holdren has been a guest on Letterman before. He visited in April 2008 to ply global warming scare propaganda.

Not a peep from Letterman about Holdren’s spectacularly wrong predictions and irresponsible alarmism.

And we certainly won’t expect a peep from Letterman about Holdren’s extremist musings on forced abortions, mass sterilizations, and undesirables.

Wouldn’t want to be accused of ‘defamation’ by the left-wing blogs, eh, Dave?
Holdren’s office has gotten away with stonewalling questions about the science czar’s promotion of his colleague and mentor, eugenicist Harrison Brown.

Pray

Posted by: Steve Febbraro    in Thoughts

This evening our church, Calvary Wesleyan, had a prayer walk throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Our goal was simple, to pray for the people living in the homes we stood in front of. We prayed that God would meet their needs, and if none of the people inside the homes knew Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, we prayed that one day they may.

Our purpose was not to knock on doors, or pass out pamphlets, or to intrude in anyone’s life. We just prayed.

We set out in groups of seven. As far as I know, there is no biblical precedent for that number, but seven seemed like a right size for a group. Uncomplicated.

Nothing dramatic happened during our prayer walk. The heavens did not open up, no lighting bolts came down from the sky, it was just seven people, forming a circle, and holding hands as one prayed after another.

Only God knows how effective we were, but we prayed, and God does answer prayers.

Let us pray for our country. Pray that President Obama will see the error of his ways, and become a godly leader.

It’s difficult for me to believe a man could attend church for twenty years, and have none of the gospel of Jesus Christ take hold of his life. Unless his church attendance was posturing, rather than true worship. I will never know his heart, it is not my place to judge his heart, but his actions do speak loudly to what he believes. Purely based on his actions, I’d say Obama falls under the, “Just because you’re in a garage, that doesn’t make you a car”, category.

Pray for our country. Pray for Obama. Pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his misguided direction for this country. And, if Obama rejects the prompting of the Holy Spirit, pray that American be protected by any means necessary.

Our God is bigger than Obama, or all his Czars put together. In the end, we win. Until that time, Obama may be able to shut down the internet, he may be able to send his civilian goon army into our streets, he may be able to crumble our economy, but he will never be able to take away our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

What Other Reason?

Posted by: Steve Febbraro    in Thoughts

Think about it. The President of the United States, wants the power to shut down the internet on a whim that national security might be an issue.

The internet belongs to no government, and has proven to be an effective means of communication for all peoples no matter their political bent. Not to mention the millions of teens, much to their parents consternation, live and breathe via the internet.

Obama wants the right to shut all this down. Why?

He’s afraid. Obama is afraid of ideas. Ideas that don’t agree with his own socialist notion of what America should look like. He’s afraid of the lies and fraudulent activity of his administration being exposed via the internet.

The solution to this, shut down the internet. Obama knows he has decieved the American people on many levels, and through the diligent work of truth seeking bloggers, his deceptions are being uncovered one by one. Obama wants to stop the truth. It has nothing to do with national security, and everything to do with Obama’s fear.

If one is living an honest life, there is never anything to fear. However, if one’s political rise to power is based on lies, fraud, and deception, as is Obama’s, the truth should scare you to death.

Obama is running scared. We must keep on exposing his deception until the the most blinded liberals see Obama for what he is.

Obama Man-Boy

Posted by: Steve Febbraro    in Thoughts

Let’s see. First Obama signs into a law a Stimulus package he, or members of congress have never read. Said stimulus package has been a miserable failure. Millions of Americans are out of work, and the unemployment numbers continue to rise.

Then, came Obama’s healthcare bill, which has nothing to do with healthcare, but everything to do with power and control. Who in their right mind, Repulican or Democrat, thinks the government is actually able to administer a healthcare program, when Medicare, Social Security and a host of other government run programs are near backruptcy, or in a horrible state.

They know Obama’s healthcare plan will fail, but they do not care. It’s all about power.

Let’s not forget about the Cash for Clunkers program. Car dealers are still waiting for their money, and most have had to lay off employees because they don’t have the money to keep them on. And, why don’t they have the money? The Cash for Clunkers program.

In the scope of governent run programs, Cash for Clonkers is a mom and pop operation, yet, our muddle minded beaurocarats can even get the tinniest of goverment programs to run correctly.

Cash for Clunkers, in a word, CLUNK!

Now, Obama wants to take over the internet in case guise of National Security. He may try it, since his childlike egocentric mind only thinks about what Barry wants.

If healthcare doesn’t frightent and stir the American people, and if the Stimulus package didn’t raise a national rucus, and if the Cash for Clunkers had more American’s scratching their heads at the antics of government, then raising their hackles, taking over the internet will be the beggining of Obama’s demise.

Teenagers, moms, soccer teams, churches, grandmoms and grandpops, who doesn’t use the internet.

Let Obama have his way, and in the end the American people will show our man-boy President just who is running this country.

Barry Obama Slavemaster

Posted by: Steve Febbraro    in Thoughts

Obama is the nations first black slave owner. President Obama, has rekindled the flame of slavery into the hearts and souls of his administration and the Democratic party.

I find those who call conservatives, racist to be highly amusing, since Barry Obama is a slaveholder in every sense of the word.

A short definition of slavery: “Slavery is a form of forced labor in which people are considered to be, or treated as, the property of others.”

“Considered to be, or treated as, the property of others.” That is the key phrase, and the reason Obama, the 44th President of the United States, is a slaveholder. And, it all has to do with his Healthcare Bill.
According to the Obama administration, human life now has a monetary value. That is, infants and the elderly, according to the Obama administration, are less valuable to society, worth less money, than those citizens in the prime of their life.

Did not slavery affix dollar amounts to human beings? Recall the slave auctions, where human beings were sold based on their market value. Obama’s healthcare bill places the same value on human life.

An infant, slave, is worth little money, so why should he/she be permitted to live, or given treatment that would sustain an unproductive life. Slave owners killed slaves that brought in no money at auction, those whole life was worth nothing (in their minds). Obama is the same kind of slave owner. And, his healthcare bill is the modern concept of the slave auction.

The elderly, likewise, have little monetary value in Obama’s healthcare world, and they too, will be shown the fantastic ways of ending their life so as not to be a drain on the healthcare system. In other words, the elderly, are the modern day slaves who have outlived their usefulness. Why treat a slave who can’t work anymore, no reason at all. Send them off to die. Obama healthcare and slavery, one and the same.
Obama’s healthcare plan owns your body, just as slave masters owned their slaves.

The government will decide whether an arm or a leg, or a hip will be replaced. And in so doing have purchased your body, else how could they make decisions affecting you?

Obama is introducing a new era of slavery, with him being the chief slave owner. Slavery was a shameful part of our American history. It is shocking to think our first black president would usher in slavery as part of his “Hope and Chains” campaign.

Let Rev. Sharpton, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson, denounce Obama for enslaving the American people. No of us were born to live on the plantation, but Obama’s healthcare plan, would keep us there forever.

Dr. Martin Luther King once said, “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

I’m sorry Dr. King, Obama has dashed your work upon the rocks of power. Slavery is alive and well in America, and our president is slave owner in chief.
